Pan Con Tomate

Ingredients

1 baguette
4 roma or beefsteak tomatoes, grated
2 garlic cloves, cut in half
1 package Espuna Serrano Ham
1 package Sliced Brandt Hungarian Salami
Top with olive oil, flakey salt, and cracked pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice baguette on a bias and place on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and toast in oven about 5-7 minutes, or until browned and crisp.
  2. Meanwhile, cut tomatoes in half horizontally. Rub the tomatoes on a box grater and grate until a tomato mixture is formed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. When your bread is out of the oven, take a raw garlic clove, and with the cut side rub it against the toast. Top the toast with the tomato mixture.
  4. Alternate draping slices of Espuna Serrano Ham and Brandt Hungarian Salami on top. Season with flakey salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve immediately and enjoy!
