Pretzel Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 6 Pretzel Buns
  • 250g Brandt Pastrami, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 Kühne Sauerkraut
  • 1/2 cup Kühne Gherkins, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Russian dressing
  • 3 tbsp butter or oil (for frying)
  • Arugula

Directions

  1. Drain the sauerkraut well.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Slice the pretzel buns in half and lightly butter or brush them with oil.
  4. Toast the rolls, cut side down, for 2–3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Remove the rolls from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Spread a generous amount of Russian dressing on the bottom half of each roll.
  7. Layer the pastrami on top, followed by Swiss cheese, sliced gherkins, and sauerkraut.
  8. Add arugula for extra flavour and freshness.
  9. Place the top half of each roll on the sandwich and serve immediately. Enjoy!
